The evidence behind a strategic question
Market entry, competitive landscape, investment thesis. We assemble the inputs your team works from — registered facts, management commentary, and operators who have run the business — and give you direct access to each. The analysis stays yours.
Questions it is used for
Three shapes of question clients bring us. In each, we source the inputs; the conclusion is theirs.
- Market entry
- Who already operates in a market, what they file, and named operators who have built the same footprint — country by country, rather than as a European average.
- Competitive landscape
- Every company active in a segment, ranked on their filed accounts, plus how the listed ones describe their own position to the market.
- Investment thesis
- The filed numbers behind a thesis, and operators who have run the same business and will tell you what those numbers leave out.
Method
What we assemble
Four kinds of evidence, from four sources we maintain ourselves rather than resell.
- 01
Registered facts
Identity, ownership, officers and filed accounts for every company in scope, taken from the national registry.
- 02
Reported trajectories
Up to ten years of revenue, operating result and net income where the registry publishes them, so a trend is measured rather than asserted.
- 03
Management commentary
What executives told the market, period by period and event by event, attributed to the person who said it.
- 04
Primary interviews
Named operators and former executives, identified for your question and individually vetted before any introduction.
What you receive
The inputs, not a report: the underlying data in a form you can re-run yourself, the transcripts and documents behind every figure, and introductions to the operators. Where the available sources cannot settle a question, we say so rather than estimating.
